Delivery and Return of the Vehicle

• Pick up times are after 3.00PM and return time before 11.00AM (unless otherwise arranged with Galway Campers).

Security Deposit

• The hirer must secure security deposit of €1000 before taking the camper on hire. This deposit is secured against damage caused by hirer. This includes loss of skylights, mirrors, window or windscreen damage, tyre damage, and any damage to camper body. The deposit can only be accepted as cash or by making credit card details available. The card will only be debited in the event that the motorhome is not returned as hired. Galway Campers reserve the right to debit the hirers card for the full amout on hiring the motorhome and refund the card on return.

  Galway Campers reserve the right to retain a €150.00 cleaning fee if the motorhome is not returned with the interior in a clean condition. Also the toilet and waste water tank must be emptied prior to the return of the vehicle.
• The camper must be returned with a full fuel tank (Unless otherwise agreed with Galway Campers).

 Vehicle Damage - Insurance Cover

• The Vehicle is insured for damage to the Vehicle and the property of a third party. The insurance has an excess of €1600. The hirer is responsible for any damage up to the excess amount where he hirer is the responsible party in an accident. The security deposit of €1000 can be used against this excess in the event of damge cause to the vehicle or that of a third party.
   

Road Restrictions

• All Vehicles may only be driven on sealed / bitumen roads. The Camper must not travel through the area known as the Connor Pass in Kerry. Insurance is void on the Connor Pass.

Alterations to the Vehicle

• The hirer shall not make any alterations or additions to the Vehicle without the prior consent of Galway Campers Company Ltd.

Pets & smoking

• The hirer will not allow smoking in the vehicle. The hirer will not allow pets in the motorhome (can be allowed with prior permission in exceptional cases). Cleaning fee of €150 applied for motorhome returned requiring valeting due to soiling by pets or evidence of smoking inside the motorhome.

Passengers

• Galway Campers Company Ltd authorises the use of these vehicles up to the stated number of passengers, i.e. the number of safety restraints provided. Each person to use the safety restraints provided at all times whilst vehicle is in motion.

 Responsibility when accident occurs

• In the event of any accident, loss or damage arising out of the use of the vehicle, The hirer must notify Galway Campers Company Ltd within 24hrs of the happening of the event. Obtain the names and addresses of third parties and any witnesses and report the event to the nearest police station. The hirer should not make any admission of liability to other parties, settlement offer or other like offer; Assist Galway Campers Company Ltd in handling any claim arising from any event, including providing all relevant information and attending Court to give evidence. The hirer acknowledges that the excess or other amount due in respect of any damage arising from an accident, loss or damage is payable at the time of reporting the event and not at the completion of the rental period. The hirer will pay for any costs relating to the delivery of a change over vehicle as a result of an accident regardless of which party is at fault.

 Terminating the Agreement

• The Hirer acknowledges that Galway Campers Company Ltd may terminate this Agreement and repossess the Vehicle at any time, and that the hirer will pay the reasonable costs of repossessing the Vehicle, including towing charges if; the hirer is in breach of any term of this Agreement; the hirer has obtained the Vehicle through fraud or misrepresentation; The Vehicle appears to be abandoned; The Vehicle is not returned on the agreed return date or Galway Campers Company Ltd reasonably believes that the Vehicle will not be returned on the agreed return date; Galway Campers Company Ltd considers on reasonable grounds, that the safety of passengers or the condition of the Vehicle is endangered. The hirer understands that in the event of such termination or repossession, The hirer has no right to a refund of any part of the rental charges or the Security Deposit.

Change of Vehicle

• Galway Campers Company Ltd reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to substitute a comparable Vehicle for the Vehicle. In that event, The hirer shall not be liable for any increased rental or other charges save for any addition running costs pertaining to the substitute vehicle. Such substitution shall not entitle me to any refund and does not constitute a breach of this Agreement.The vehicle may be right or left hand drive. 

Release and Indemnity of Galway Campers Company Ltd.

• Subject to its obligation to deliver the Vehicle or an appropriate substitute vehicle, The hirer releases Galway Campers Company Ltd, its employees and agents, from any liability to the hirer(regardless of who is at fault) for any loss or damage incurred by the hirer by reason of this Agreement, including but not limited to: Any loss or damage caused by breakdown, mechanical defect, accident or the Vehicle being unsuitable for my purpose; Any loss or damage to any property left in or on the Vehicle, in any service vehicle or on any Galway Campers Company Ltd premises or recovered or handled by Galway Campers Company Ltd. Subject to any insurance arrangements agreed with Galway Campers Company Ltd, The hirer hereby indemnify and shall keep indemnified Galway Campers Company Ltd, its employees and agents against any claims, demands and expenses (including legal costs) incurred or sustained by them or any of them by reason of the hirers use and/or possession of the Vehicle.

Title to Vehicle

• The hirer acknowledges that Galway Campers Company Ltd retains title to the Vehicle and that the hirer possess the goods as a mere bailee only. The hirer does not have any right to pledge Galway Campers Company Ltd credit in connection with the Vehicle and agree not to do so. The hirer shall not agree, attempt, offer or purport to sell, assign, sublet, lend, pledge, mortgage, let on hire, or otherwise part with or attempt to part with the personal possession of or otherwise deal with the Vehicle.

Changes

• Any changes to this agreement must be in writing and must be signed on behalf of Galway Campers Company Ltd and by the hirer.

Proper Law

• This agreement shall be governed by the National Law in which this agreement was signed.
